  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) – Attendees will learn the difference between participatory and health contingent and the requirements that need to be met for each.
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) – The lesson will cover voluntary requirement for both laws when seeking health information from employees and family members as part of a workplace wellness program.

A case study on one employer’s wellness program will be used to examine compliance issues, giving you the highest quality of understanding on this subject.
