A special joint webinar for NWI & WELCOA members only!

“Mapping Out Meaning for Employee Well-being” is a concept based on ecosystems, aiming to create a positive work environment by integrating elements like psychological safety, high-quality relationships, and mental toughness. These components can foster a cultural narrative of toughness and teamwork, empowering employees to tackle challenges together. We will delve into this journey by sharing strategies employed in one of the most challenging organizations to transform: the U.S. Military. These efforts have directly impacted over 2,000 trained service members across 37 different states/territories and even executive leaders in Washington, DC and have improved purpose, optimism, intrinsic motivation, emotional intelligence, and leadership coaching, and saved 15 lives from suicide.

Following this webinar, you will be able to:

  • identify the foundational aspects of creating a positive workplace environment, focusing on psychological safety, high-quality relationships, and mental toughness, and understand how these elements contribute to a culture of toughness and teamwork.
  • discuss the tools to implement strategies proven effective in the U.S. Military, demonstrating the application of theory into practice in one of the most demanding change environments.
  • assess the impact of well-being initiatives on organizational culture, individual purpose, optimism, intrinsic motivation, and emotional intelligence, including suicide prevention and enhancing leadership coaching skills.

This webinar is eligible for 1 CEC and pre-approved for: NWI CWP (Category 1), ACSM, CHES/MCHES (Category I), SHRM-CP, & SHRM-SCP.  View NWI’s CEC Info page for more details.
